Residential and Commercial Warranty
A 3 year structural warranty shall apply for custom made furniture subject to domestic use. A 1 year structural warranty shall apply for custom made furniture subject to commercial use.
The warranty specifically covers frames and unit carcasses.
The warranty excludes materials by other manufacturers. If such materials are agreed to be defective we will use reasonable endeavours to assist negotiating a satisfactory settlement with the supplier on your behalf. Such suppliers can provide warranties relating to the performance of materials supplied by them.
During the warranty period the seller will replace or repair any defective products without charge so long as the damage does not arise from improper, inadequate or incorrect usage, including but not limited to the following:
- improper adjustment, calibration or operation by the buyer;
- the use of accessories which were not manufactured by or approved in writing by the seller;
- any contamination or leakages caused or induced by the buyer;
- any modifications of the product which was not authorised in writing by the seller;
- any misuse of the product by the buyer or anyone for whom the buyer has legal responsibility (including a minor);
- any use or operation of the product outside of the physical, electrical or environmental specifications of the products;
- inadequate or incorrect site preparation; and
- inadequate or improper maintenance of the product.
Warranty Claim
Claims can be made through the place from which the furniture was purchased.
An inspection of the product will be required to determine the nature and cause of the alleged defect. This willbe conducted by Pureform Furniture and you will be advised whether the claim is covered by this warranty.
All transportation charges incurred in returning defective products, or any of its component parts, for repair, together with the cost of returning them to the buyer must be paid by the buyer.
Specific exclusions and instructions
Stainless Steel
- Tea staining will occur on stainless steel and is not covered under this warranty.
Glass Top Tables
- All glass top tables use toughened glass suitable for furniture applications. Glass scratches and chipping is specifically excluded from this warranty.
Compact Laminate
- Please refer to the compact laminate section of the care and maintenance instructions. All compact laminates are covered by the separate warranty of the manufacturer and are excluded from Pureform’s warranty.
Timber Veneer & Solid
- Discolouration due to exposure to sunlight and ultra violet rays is specifically excluded from this warranty. Solid timber, being a natural product, is subject to change and movement.
Powder Coat
- Powder Coat is a decorative finish for indoor and outdoor use. While it assists with stainless steel protection it is not a corrosion protection in its own right. When choosing a colour for outdoor use please refer to the suppliers UV chart to ensure a suitable choice. While every care is taken at Pureform to provide the most suitable finish against scratching, cuffing, fading or corrosion. To ensure longevity of this finish please refer to the care and maintenance instructions.
Other
This warranty does not extend to cover any damage to cabinetry hardware, nor to corrosion due to any cause nor to any damage to painted or anodized surfaces.
These items included in the product carries an individual limited warranty from the respected manufacturer and that warranty is the only warranty given to the buyer in respect of that part of the product.
Maintenance.
Your Pureform product requires some ongoing care and maintenance to encourage its longevity, and keep it looking ‘as new’. Instigating a regular maintenance regime will ensure many years of trouble free service from your Pureform product. The frequency of cleaning will vary according to the required appearance and environment. Where salts/ pollutants are more prevalent, such as seaside and industrial areas, a cleaning program should be carried out more frequently. When moving furniture be careful not to drag the item.

Powder Coat
Wash regularly with warm soapy water and mild detergent using a soft cloth. Always rinse well with water, to remove remaining detergent. Avoid scratching the surface by dry dusting. Do not allow dirt to accumulate, dry out and harden. Abrasive cleaning agents are not recommended.
Stainless Steel
Wash regularly with soapy water or detergent using a soft clean cloth, and if necessary, a 3M Scotch Brite Pad. Remove non washable deposits on stainless steel surface with an approved cleaner eg: 3M Stainless cleaner, Jif, or Ajax. Clean in one direction only, along the original polish lines. Rinse well with water. Abrasive cleaning products are not recommended. Do not allow dirt to accumulate, dry out and harden.
Please Note: Tea Staining will occur on the Stainless Steel when in proximity to the coast. It does not effect the strength or longevity of the material. Clean monthly to maintain.
Compact Laminate
Dust with a soft, non oily cloth and wipe spills using a damp cloth. For more stubborn stains use hot water and household detergent, then remove with clean water or window cleaning agent. Repeat several times if necessary. To prevent streaks or smears, always rub surface dry with an absorbent clean cloth. Abrasive cleaning products are not recommended.
Timber – Solid & Veneer
As timber is sealed with a protective polyurethane lacquer the only maintenance required is to regularly wipe timber with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. For more stubborn stains use hot water and household detergent, then remove with clean water. Repeat several times if necessary. Oils or other polishes are not necessary. Avoid contact with liquid, heat and keep out of direct sunlight. Abrasive cleaning products are not recommended.
Glass
The only maintenance required is to regularly wipe the glass with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Other cleaning agents are not necessary. Avoid contact excessive heat. Abrasive cleaning products are not recommended.
Paint – Polyurethane
As the painted mdf is sealed with a protective polyurethane lacquer the only maintenance required is to regularly wipe timber with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. For more stubborn stains use hot water and household detergent, then remove with clean water. Repeat several times if necessary. Oils or other polishes are not necessary. Avoid contact with liquid, heat and keep out of direct sunlight. Abrasive cleaning products are not recommended.
Solid Acrylic
Solid acrylic is non-porous, so liquids can’t be absorbed. That means total hygiene and a stain free surface. Spills disappear effortlessly with a damp cloth or sponge and a simple wipe. Even stubborn stains like red wine, beetroot, food acids and oils are removed easily. A firm wipe with a damp sponge and a mild abrasive cleaner will ensure longevity of your solid acrylic surface.
